Job Overview

The Shop jane iredale Assistant Manager provides team leadership and conducts all roles and responsibilities of a Beauty Advisor. This includes engaging with the team daily by motivating, supporting and coaching them. The role provides best-in-class customer service with expert product knowledge and order fulfillment support in processing orders to be delivered to customers. This is a full-time position located at our global headquarters in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • - Provide overall support for the Customer Experience Manager and fulfill duties as necessary.
  • - Support the Beauty Advisor and Fulfillment teams daily by answering their questions and coaching as needed.
  • - Motivate the team daily and support team building activities and trainings.
  • - Assist with vendor supplies and product inventory.
  • - Respond to customer reviews, google reviews and website questions.
  • - Engage promptly and enthusiastically to all customer inquiries.
  • - Advise customers on application, color and use of products.
  • - Share in-depth knowledge across our range of makeup and skincare.

Marketing Coordinator - Great Barrington, MA

Job Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will work across the team to support key functions and marketing initiatives including product launches, digital programs, and management of professional partners. The role will support multiple team members to execute engaging programs and deliver a best-in-class experience to consumers and partners. This role is based in Great Barrington, MA at the jane iredale headquarters and will need to be in the office three days per week.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • - Support product launch development and execution, including competitive assessment, pricing analysis, marketing copy and asset development, and photo shoot production assistance
  • - Write email creative briefs and schedule consumer emails
  • - Manage in store collateral updates via coordinating internal and external partner creative delivery to meet launch deadlines
  • - Analyze and benchmark competitors by reviewing other top beauty brands marketing materials and sharing observations

US Marketing Manager - Hybrid, Great Barrington, MA

The role of the US Marketing Manager is to help grow and market jane iredaleTHE SKINCARE MAKEUP. The ideal candidate has a proven track record working with and creating breakthrough marketing for high-growth, challenger beauty brands. The US Marketing Manager plays an essential role in the development and execution of the domestic marketing plan. This position supports the VP of US marketing and works closely with the US and Global marketing teams to create tools and resources needed to support sales and drive further brand success. jane iredale and the marketing team is headquartered in Great Barrington, MA. This is a Hybrid position with the ability work remotely at times.

 

Main Objectives:

  • - Support VP of US Marketing in developing and presenting the brand story domestically
  • - Develop and implement annual marketing and promotions calendar
  • - Manage 360-degree launch planning process for innovation in US market
  • - Partner with Sales to support professional partners for both sell-in and sell-thru initiatives

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

MARKETING PLANNING

  • - Develop clear, effective marketing and promotional strategies & toolkits for partners to execute easily
  • - Bring the brand to life by integrating long-term strategic vision into the annual and monthly marketing calendar, developing creative ideas/ themes for quarterly initiatives, new launches & other key brand moments
  • - Initiate creative briefing process for new program kickoffs, sales support assets, and domestic specific programs
  • - Collaborate with Global Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to manage the planning and on-time success of US marketing initiatives
  • - Work with Education and Creative teams to develop compelling education assets including videos, imagery, and partner-sourced content.

 

NATIONAL ACCOUNT SUPPORT

  • - Serve as Marketing liaison for national retailer marketing teams
  • - Collaborate with National Accounts Manager to establish and implement annual marketing plan by account
  • - Ensure that national partner marketing programs are executed on time (eventing, GWPs, promotions, sampling, sales/education support, etc.)
  • - Develop initiatives and collateral to support newly opened stores or retail partners
  • - Partner with National Account Manager to develop ideal product assortment by account
  • - Partner with Education to develop event plans and necessary marketing tools

 

PROFESSIONAL PARTNER SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT

  • - Collaborate with sales leadership and partners to understand needs and create tools to fill those needs
  • - Partner with Global Marketing to produce and deploy successful marketing campaigns to support innovation and focus products
  • - Develop an annual event and sell thru plan to drive sales in professional channel
  • - Budget and monitor relevant marketing spend on a quarterly and annual basis
  • - Produce launch specific digital & social support toolkits for professional partners

 

PRODUCT INNOVATION

  • - Collaborate with product development team, marketing, and sales management to drive lead go-to-market strategies and launch tools including selling materials, promotional collateral, and sell-thru assets
  • - Develop marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, drive new customer acquisition, drive repeat purchase, and help sales to achieve growth objectives
  • - Analyze business to evaluate launch ambition and forecasted cannibalization rates of innovation within the US market

PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATION

  • - Partner with VP of Marketing and AOR to develop annual strategic PR plan and budget
  • - Collaborate with PR team to drive new customer traffic to brand through relationship building with editors, makeup artists, and influencers
  • - Support could include partnering with AOR in planning events, developing creative mailings, etc.
  • - Execute day to day PR communications, product ordering, and budget management

 

Education and Experience:

  • - Bachelor’s degree required
  • - 5-7 years of brand/product marketing experience
  • - Strong knowledge and understanding of prestige/professional beauty market
  • - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • - Comfort working in a collaborative, team environment

Clean Beauty Artist

The Clean Beauty Artist (CBA) is responsible to work closely with the Partner Development Coordinator, Territory Manager and Regional Director in assisting with makeup artistry, inventory review, merchandising, floor support, events, staff events and retail training. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Artistry and Education.

 

Makeup Artistry:

Must possess a minimum of intermediate makeup artistry skills and be comfortable applying makeup to consumers and partners. Must have a key understanding of the jane iredalebrand and products to feel at ease explaining and discussing key ingredients as well as the features and benefits.

 

Support:

The CBA will support scheduled events, floor support and training when needed by a National Account or a partner location. These events will be scheduled by the PDC or TM.

 

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma required, AA or BA preferred.

2 years of Makeup Artistry experience in a retail environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Sell through of retail inventory, promotional items, and skincare supplements via floor support, events and consumer interaction and education when needed.
  • - Inventory review and order assistance.
  • - Merchandising assistance and display maintenance.
  • - Participation in educational offerings as well as tradeshows when needed.
  • - Provide high-level support to all partner doors.

 

Other Skills and Competencies:

  • - Strong oral presentation skills; must be able to engage staff and consumers.
  • - Ability to interact professionally with retail staff, spa owners, managers, and spa/salon staff, as well as doctors, nurses, and medical office staff.
  • - Strong written communication skills

Computer Proficiency:
